Noste brought a touch of northern Finnish creativity to the South of France by designing and producing the City of Oulu’s exhibition stand at the MIPIM 2025 international exhibition in Cannes. CITY OF OULU MIPIM2025 EXHIBITION Client: City of Oulu Event: MIPIM2025 exhibition Venue: Le Palais des Festivals, Cannes, Ranska From Kilpisjärvi to Cannes – Finnish design charmed in France. We brought a touch of northern Finnish creativity to the South of France by designing and producing the City of Oulu’s exhibition stand at the MIPIM 2025 international fair in Cannes. Noste was selected for the project through a competitive bidding process, after which we had the opportunity to create a refined and impressive stand concept together with our trusted design and construction partner. While the client already had preliminary plans, we updated the design to make it fresher, lighter and more open – a look the client immediately loved. The stand highlighted Finnish design, functional spatial use and a cohesive visual identity. The venue, Le Palais des Festivals, presented its fair share of logistical challenges, but our experienced construction partner handled everything smoothly with the help of local contacts. Noste was responsible, alongside its partner, for the stand design, construction and overall project management. The best feedback came when the client, upon arrival, thought the stand was larger than in previous years – even though the square meters remained exactly the same. Smart spatial design really makes a difference! A big thanks to our client for the excellent collaboration and continued trust. We had the pleasure of partnering with the Finnish Energy Authority to deliver their annual The Day of Renewable Energy, a topical seminar that brought together nearly 400 participants from across Finland. The inspiring event took place at Paasitorni in Helsinki, where two halls were filled with insightful presentations and discussions. Registration and payments were handled smoothly through Eventos event program, while Noste managed the entire invitation and registration process from start to finish ensuring that every attendee enjoyed a seamless start to their seminar day. At the registration desk, our cheerful and professional event staff kept the flow moving efficiently, preventing queues despite the large number of participants. Valmet's Beyond Circularity was a four-year Business Finland Veturi project (2022–2026), which aimed to accelerate the green transition, develop technologies that promote the circular economy, and support industrial carbon neutrality with over 370 ecosystem partners in 47 projects. Noste was responsible for the overall production of the event. VALMET OYJ BEYOND CIRCULARITY -PROJECT CLOSING PARTY Client: Valmet Oyj Event: Beyond Circularity -project closing party Venue: Musiikkitalo & Kulttuurikasarmi Valmet's Beyond Circularity was a four-year Business Finland Veturi project (2022–2026), which aimed to accelerate the green transition, develop technologies that promote the circular economy, and support industrial carbon neutrality with over 370 ecosystem partners in 47 projects. The closing ceremony of the project brought together Valmet employees, representatives of Business Finland and ecosystem partners related to the projects. The successes of the projects and the impacts of the entire project were discussed in the Paavo Hall of the Music Hall, with an audience of 200 actively participating in the day's activities. During the seminar day, participants were able to explore the sections in the lower lobby, where the projects were presented, and enjoy the delicious treats of Music Hall. At the end of the day, a cocktail party brought the participants together, wonderfully accompanied by the music of the Sibelius Academy. When leaving, guests were given basil seeds to take home, in the spirit of the green transition. The event continued with the Valmet team at Kulttuurikasarmi, where the project's completion was celebrated. The evening culminated with highlights from the project, a wonderful dinner, and a fascinating performance by Lumina. In particular, the script and program flow of the day event with approximately 40 speakers, required minute-by-minute planning and an experienced technical team to ensure that the speeches and the right materials flowed at the desired pace. The day brought together business leaders, experts and future leaders to discuss growth, change in working life and spaces that enable new ways of thinking. Keilaniemi ARC is a renewed meeting place that brings people, ideas and companies together around great space solutions. These modern spaces are an excellent platform for companies to grow and also naturally support various collaboration opportunities. The opening day program offered thought-provoking speeches and discussions. Deputy Mayor for Economic Development, Employment, Sports and Culture in Espoo, Mervi Heinaro opened up perspectives on the city of growth, and keynote speakers Helene Auramo and Matti Ristimäki introduced the audience to the transformation of working life and how and for whom growth is actually being built. The event was hosted by the brilliant Sanna Salovaara, who led the guests through the story of Keilaniemi ARC and its creators. During the afternoon, we also had the opportunity to explore the renovated premises with small group tours, from co-working areas to a golf simulator and move-in ready spaces where you could already plan your own office of the future. Delicious flavors at after work were provided by the Nest restaurant, and a live pianist was creating a beautiful atmosphere by the views overlooking the sea. Networking, discussions and insights filled the space, and Keilaniemi ARC shone true to its name as a meeting place that creates opportunities for growth and big plans, as is well evident from the motto "Do bigger things". The winning proposal stood out thanks to persistent sales work, attention to detail, a strong creative concept and a well-structured plan, all delivered within the set budget. According to the client, Noste Productions presentation was precise, professional, and reflected an excellent understanding of the event’s needs. “Our concept started with the essentials. This was a once-in-a-lifetime celebration a chance for project members to reconnect after years of collaboration. We wanted to design the event to encourage conversations and meaningful encounters, while also ensuring that everyone, including those attending alone, felt welcome. Even in the offer phase, we focused on creating a warm, human-centered atmosphere rather than presenting cold 3D visuals. Instead, we conveyed the mood through storytelling and evocative imagery. It was amazing to see how much guests enjoyed the evening and how delighted the client was with the result," says Johanna Saarinen, the event’s lead designer at Noste. The final event struck a perfect balance between festive and relaxed, supported by host Rudi Rok, tailored décor for the Metro Areena and a headline performance by the Finnish singer, song writer and artist Anssi Kela. The evening’s host, Rudi Rok, brought energy and charisma to both the stage and his show. Later, a DJ and saxophonist duo kept the dance floor alive well into the night. The event marked the S-Ryhmä's annual kickoff, with up to 250 participants joining online! Lively group discussions kept the energy high throughout the day and the event was topped off with performances by Takomo and Hovimuusikko Ilkka. A fantastic participation rate and very satisfied clients.
